Prospect of Magnesium Board Development from the Status Quo and Trend of Application of Aluminum Sheets

Magnesium alloy sheet strips have become hot spots in the research, development and industrialization of scientific research institutions and production companies at home and abroad. Compared with aluminum sheet strips that are both lightweight structural materials and have similar mechanical properties, the current production and application of magnesium alloy sheet strips are still very different from their current production and application. In this paper, through the discussion and summary of the current application fields, application characteristics, application quantities and application trends of aluminum strips, the prospects for the application of metal replacements for aluminum strips in the field of aerospace and transportation are analyzed.
